Once
upon a time, there was a girl named Cattleya. She was only the child of
the family. Fortunately, she belongs to a famous and wealthy family. Not
that long ago, she was excited about life. So many choices! Why not try
them all and then decide? She wasn't akid anymore, but still there was plenty
of time left.
After all, it was her life, wasn't it? And she would experiment it. She
got new friends, did things she was curious about, that she never tried
before.
And so she did. It was fun and even more exciting than she had
imagined. Even the "cover ups" in front of her family and her old
friends provided a thrill. Then one night she went to a party wherein she
did things she couldn't quite remember. Everything was a blur out of
control. The last thing she recalled was holding on a wall and sinking into a
corner.
The next morning Cattleya found out
herself on a strange mattress, her rumpled clothes saturated with smell of bear
and smoke from last night’s party. Her head was hurt and she felt so powerless
alone and lost.
It wasn’t to be like this and it
definitely wasn’t fun anymore. But it had been her choice. She had no one else
to blame but herself.
Reflection:
The lesson and choices of being in
curiosity is certainly one of the important things a person can make. In every
aspects of life, the freedom will give you the intuition to go and do. Why don’t
you try to yourself sometimes not to be a slave of your emotions? And let your
mind capture the good things. Just like the personality it was. You don’t have
enough experiences to conquer the flow of life and don’t let yourself go beyond
your limitations just for your curiosity. Control it as you respect yourself
and irradiate the good responses.
